The Electric Way Celebrates 10 Years with an Event to Bring the Community Together and Give Back
In 2013, founder and Master Electrician, David Hopmayer, began serving his neighbors by providing honest electrical services at a reasonable price. Unlike many contractors that use their skilled trades to scare and take advantage of their clients, The Electric Way has built a foundation on providing friendly advice and standing behind the quality of their work. 10 years later, this distinction in reputation is clear, as The Electric Way is one of the highest rated electricians in the Colorado Springs, Monument, and surrounding areas. With over 600 5-Star Google reviews, countless recommendations through customer-controlled sites like Nextdoor, Facebook, and Yelp, this company has been “doing it right” for a decade. The Electric Way prides itself on simple, but effective principles, like returning messages within 24 hours, showing up on time, employing highly skilled, licensed electricians, and providing a 5 year warranty on all their services. Owner and Chief Marketing Officer, Jessica Thompson, explains that “We are a family business, so we hold each other accountable to the highest ethical standards. We strive to be good, honest people in our personal lives and we run our business to reflect those same values.” Technicians at The Electric Way appreciate the transparency and quality expectations, often noting that they don’t feel the pressure to make sales or rush through work, like they have been expected to do while working for previous contractors. The highest priority for each technician is simply to provide a high quality service for each customers.
In celebration of this small business’ milestone, The Electric Way will be hosting a community event in downtown Monument, CO at Trails End Tap Room on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, joined by The Saucy Pig BBQ Food Truck and Lori Lynn’s Cookies and Cream Food Truck. The event will have activities for the whole family, including giveaways for guests. However, as Owner and COO, Maria Hopmayer said, “It didn’t feel right to make it all about us”, so the event will also be focused around raising funds for Tri-Lakes Cares, a local non-profit that provides food and financial resources for those in need in the community. The main source of these funds will be accomplished through a raffle, supplied by generous community donors, where guests can purchase tickets to win a wide range of prizes, including a mountain getaway, private yoga class, salon services, and much more!
